Our club was proudly established in 2014 and since then has produced swimmers of all levels from those competing on a regular basis for fun and fitness through to high performance national level competitors. We are a family orientated, friendly swimming club that welcomes swimmers of all ages and abilities.

Wodonga City Swimming Club, together with Wangaratta Swimming Club, would like to welcome all swimmers to join us for a two day long course meet featuring Invitation Skins and Hot Heat prizes!

Seb - Boys 12 - 14 yo 400m IM
Zein- Boys 12yo 200m Breastroke👏

Cooper - Boys 14yo 400m IM finishing 3rd🥉 with a PB as well👏
Seb - Boys 400m IM finished 14th & PB 👏

A huge congratulations to all of our Wodonga City swimmers who competed at the 2026 Victorian Country Short Course Championships in Traralgon last weekend.
We finished the meet with:
🏊 102 individual swims
⭐ 80 PB’s
🥇 15 gold medals
🥈 10 silver medals
🥉 2 bronze medals
🏊 11,950 metres swum across all individual events and relays!
But the numbers only tell part of the story. The commitment, determination, team spirit and support shown by our swimmers throughout the weekend was absolutely fantastic. 💙
With 33 teams and 561 swimmers competing from across Victoria, finishing 7th overall is an outstanding achievement for our club!
And there's even more to celebrate… 🎉
💪 Our combined male team score placed Wodonga City Swimming Club 3rd in the male events! 🥉
A huge congratulations to every one of our 22 swimmers. Whether you came home with medals, PBs, new experiences or simply gave every race your absolute best — you should all be incredibly proud. 👏👏

Our team of 37 swimmers put on an outstanding performance, combining for an amazing 207 individual swims and producing some truly remarkable results!

👏 It was also fantastic to see some of our youngest swimmers stepping outside their comfort zones and tackling new events:
💙 Frankie (7) – first-ever 50m Freestyle and 50m Backstroke
💙 Andora (8) – first 50m Freestyle, 50m Backstroke and 50m Butterfly, finishing with a fantastic 🥈 Silver Medal in the Butterfly!
💙 Evie (7) – first 50m Breaststroke
Watching our youngest swimmers embrace new challenges is what our club is all about, and we can't wait to see what the future holds for each of them.
🎉Gutsy swim to Seb in the 400m Freestyle recording a pb of 3.77 seconds and qualifying for the Victorian State Age Championships.

A special congratulations to our new record holders:
🏆 Ethan
• Boys 9 & Under 50m Butterfly – 39.10, breaking the previous record of 41.22 set in 2014.
• Boys 9 & Under 50m Breaststroke – 45.34, eclipsing the previous record of 49.00 set in 2018.
🏆 Rosie
• Women 18–24 50m Butterfly – 32.05, lowering her own championship record of 32.35 set in 2022.
What an outstanding achievement from all three swimmers!

🌸 Jackie Clemson Memorial Trophy – Bryn, Female Swimmer of the Meet.
🏅 Alchin Family Trophy – Cooper, Male Swimmer of the Meet.
Further to the above this was a Hat Trick for Cooper making it his third successive Alchin Family Trophy award.
A massive thank you also goes to our coaches, officials, volunteers and families. Your support, encouragement and countless hours behind the scenes make days like this possible.

🏊💙🩵 What a fantastic day for Wodonga City Swimming Club at the Wangaratta Short Course Meet! 💙🩵🏊
Thirty of our swimmers took to the pool on Sunday, competing in an incredible 150 individual swims. It was wonderful to see everyone giving their best and supporting one another throughout the day.
A very special congratulations to Andora, Audrey and Isabelle, who each stepped up to compete in 50-metre events for the very first time. 🌟 What an amazing achievement—we're so proud of your courage and determination. Well done, girls!
